Grace Johns wins
the Anna Jones Cup!

Congratulations to Grace Johns for winning the Anna Jones cup for the over 18's freestyle Competition in the National Championships in Birmingham.

Recent dance exams

Recent exams in June. 99% received Distinctions all the under 5's Ballet the highest band. All the grade 2's and Grade 5's Ballet were eligible to enter the SE Ballet performance awards.

The school raised £550 for Children in Need by puttting on a display and Tapathon on 19th Nov 2017.

Drama Workshop

Drama workshop is a weekly Fleet based drama school for young people aged 7-18 whose aim is to inspire and develop confidence, creativity and imagination. It is a place where children and young people can come to have fun, make friends and learn about the art of performing. Our projects are diverse and exciting covering all mediums of drama enabling our members to gain experience in theatre, television, radio and film.

Congratulations to Olivia Tsang and Nicole Brambley in their first Ballet competition.
They both reached the final in the Southern Classical ballet Awards and was awarded an Honours certificate.

Congratulations

To Lily Taylor who will be appearing in High School Musical at Basingstoke.
Jasmine Woodward will be appearing in The Secret Garden in the West End she is also one of the understudies for the main part. Jasmine attends singing lessons with Miss Tina.
Congratulations to 11 pupils they will be appearing in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at the Harlington Centre in Fleet. 8 dancers 2 being dance captains 1 reserve and a special well done to Lauren Hughes and Chloe Armsworth, who will be playing the part of 2 of the Dwarves. Both pupils attend Singing dance and Drama classes.
Well done to 8 Ballet pupils, they have been selected entry for the S.E Ballet performance award in October.
Sarah Jons and Emily Ibbott have been selected for the Idta Freestyle scholarship award both gaining 94% in their recent Gold star 3 exam.

Drama Classes.

These classes follow on from Musical Theatre at 12.50pm to 1.30pm. I would encourage pupils to try and attend, it would enhance their performance in all subjects. The fee is an additional £3.25 per week.

the Tapathon for Children in Need will be held on 20th November at Albert Street social club. Anyone wishing to join the classes please let me know. £2 extra if you attend street otherwise £4.

A big well done and congratulations to our pupils

Izzy Stephenson will be playing Rapunzel and Libby Brewer will be playing the
King in this years Starburst Pantomime. Sarah and Grace Johns, Lucy James and Emily Ibbott as Principle dancers. Ellie keon, Chloe Armsworth and Lauren Hughes
will be in the chorus.

Daisy Brewer, Brooke Carter, Darcy Charman, Jasmine Woodward, Olivia Selby and Rosie Oldham will be appearing in Fleets Pantomime Alladin.

Jasmine Price will be playing Red Riding Hood and Lily Taylor will be appearing in the St Philip & St James Pantomime in Fleet.

And well done to Jasmine Woodward she completed a tour with the West End production of Shrek she is now appearing in the Silver Sword.
